INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: If an organization is using prerequisites for select memberships, system users can bypass prerequisites for memberships that do not require prerequisites.
Use Cases: Organizations can set prerequisites for renewing memberships while bypassing them for new memberships, ensuring that only the New Member option is visible for members creating their account for the first time.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
First, go to Memberships > Edit Membership.
On the edit page, system users can go to the Portal Settings tab to find the Bypass Prerequisite(s) setting.
Once Bypass Prerequisites is checked and saved, this membership can be visible on the Member Portal even if a member has never purchased a different membership type in the past.
