Q: Who supplies the credit card readers?
A: These readers can be purchased directly from SafeSave or Stripe.
Q: Who handles credit card tokenization?
A: The merchant provider stores the token through a gateway API.
Q: How does CourtReserve maintain PCI compliance?
A: CourtReserve doesn't need to handle PCI compliance, as all secure fields are stored on the merchant provider's side.
Q: Why do merchants request my social security number?
A: As per the Patriot Act of 2001, merchant accounts must establish proof of US citizenship. This legally required step, aimed at preventing illicit financial activities, is a common procedure for major banks and credit card processors.

A: This depends on the merchant and payment method used. For Stripe, you can review the payout information here. For SafeSave, contact their support team at support@safesavepayments.com.
