HOW THE STRINGING MODULE CAN HELP

The Stringing Module allows system users to create stringing jobs with the information needed on the player's racquet. The module allows system users to keep track of all jobs, and allows stringers to update jobs they have been assigned. When creating jobs, items (string, grip, labor, etc.) can be added and incorporated into the final fee amount.

HOW TO ACCESS THE STRINGING MODULE

The Stringing add-on will need to be setup prior to creating any jobs. Here is an article on the Stringing Admin Setup process.

After completing the Stringing Setup, the Stringing module can be found under STRINGING on the sidebar.

USING THE STRINGING MODULE

The Stringing Module has 5 different sections where jobs will be designated depending in their current Job Status.

Drafts will show jobs that have not been marked as Open yet. This section is typically for jobs that do not have all the needed information for the racquet(s).

My Jobs displays jobs that are assigned to the system user that is logged in.

Open Jobs are jobs that have all their needed information, but do not have a stringer assigned to them yet. Stringers can also claim jobs from this section.

Completed will show jobs that have been changed to the Completed job status. Organizations that manage racquet pick-ups will be able to mark jobs as Picked-Up from this section.

All Jobs displays all jobs that are currently in the Stringing Module, regardless of their job status. This section will show all jobs created in the last 30 days.

CREATING STRINGING JOBS

Stringing jobs can be created by clicking Create Stringing Job.

Once Create Stringing Job has been clicked, the # of Racquets for this job can be selected, as well as the Member/Player this job will be linked to. If the player does not currently have an account at your organization, the First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone fields can be used instead. Once the player's information has been added, the Requested Completion Date can be selected. If the stringer for this job has already been chosen, the Stringer can be assigned here, or later while creating this job.

After clicking Save on the Create Stringing Job window, additional information can be added. System Users can choose the current Status, assign a Stringer, and update the Requested Completion Date on this page.

Adding Racquet Information

A Racquet Description will be required for each racquet to continue through the job creation process. Any additional information such as Tension, String Pattern, Prestretch, and additional Notes can be added for this racquet as well.

If a member has previous stringing jobs on their account, there is also the option to Preload racquet information onto a new job.

After the racquet information is added, system users can now add Labor, Grip, and String Items to each racquet. These settings will be editable until a job is marked as Completed.

After adding String Item, Labor, and Grip, this job's status can be switched to Open.

Open Jobs

If there are any jobs marked as open in your Stringing Module, stringers will be able to Claim jobs from the Open Jobs section.

In Process Jobs

From the My Jobs section, jobs assigned to a stringer with the job status of In Process will show here. Once a stringer is finished with their job, they can mark the job as Complete in this section.

The fee for jobs will not be generated until a job's status is marked as Completed.

Completed Jobs

Once a job is marked as Completed, a breakdown of each added item will be shown for each racquet, as well as the total fee amount.

A Fee Summary will also be shown. This section will show the fee generated on the member's account, as well as the Fee Details which shows the breakdown of this fee.

Picked-Up

If your organization manages the pick-up of member's racquets, a job can be marked as Picked-Up on the Completed section of the Stringing Module.
