  • Use Cases: System users (admins and sub-admins with permissions) can charge items to a member's account at the checkout.

System users can restrict a member's ability (at the user level) to charge items to their account. Click here to learn how.

PREREQUISITES

System users know how to launch the POS and process a transaction.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Launch the POS and add items to the shopping cart.

  2. Go to the Checkout.

  3. Go to the member field and enter three letters of a member's name.

  4. Select the member's name on the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Process Sale and then Yes in the confirmation popup.

CourtReserve displays the Charge To Account option under the Payment Method heading if the system user did not disable this permission.

FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE

Members can see POS transactions on the member portal. The member should click their account name and select Billing > Transactions. On the next page, click the Transaction Details tab and then click the ALL tab. CourtReserve displays the unpaid amount and the Point of Sale tag in the Category column.
