INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Create session tags and apply them to an event.

  • Use Cases: System users add session tags to an event that is repeated multiple times. For instance, a club might run the same one-day course in July, August, and September. Session tags help system users sort data and run reports that can compare the performance of each session.

PREREQUISITES

Know how to create or edit Events.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

The first step is to create event session tags.

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Click SETTINGS > EVENT SETTINGS on the side menu.

  3. Click the Events Sessions icon.

  4. On the next page, click the Create Event Session button.

On the popup window, add a unique event session name and then click Save Changes. The two checkboxes (Show On Member Portal and Is Active) are enabled by default.

CourtReserve adds the session tag to the table. Optionally, use the Edit or Delete buttons to update or remove a session.

Applying session tags

Next, apply a session stage to a repeated event. In this example, the system user creates a new session by copying an event, applying a session tag, and changing the event date.

  1. Open the Events page.

  2. Select an event and click the three-dot icon.

  3. Click Copy.

CourtReserve opens a new instance of the event. Click the Session field and select an option.

Go back to the Events page (click EVENTS > LIST in the side menu). CourtReserve adds the event session to the table.

FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
