INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: Override the default event price and enter a different price for individual registrants.

  • Use Cases: If the club offers a team-limited discount for event registration, system users can use this feature to manually override the event's default price and charge the player a lower fee. This feature only works with manual registrations on the admin dashboard and does not change the default price displayed on the member portal.

PREREQUISITES

Know how to manually register players for an event. All admins can override event prices. Sub-admins can override prices if an admin enables this permission.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to EVENTS > LIST on the side menu.

  3. On the Events page, go to the table and click the name of an event.

A new page displays. Make sure the Dates tab is selected, and then click the Register Players button. A new page displays.

Scroll down the page to the Choose what price you want to use heading. Enter a new price in the Override field.

If the system user is manually registering players for a recurring (multi-day) event, the page displays two options: FULL Event Price and Drop-In Price. Choose the option that matches the needs of the player(s) to be registered and then enter the override price.

Registering a player or guest

CourtReserve sends the player a confirmation message (if the system user enabled this option).

On the member portal, the event registration shows up on the Transaction Details page.
