INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Copy an event link to paste into promotional materials.

Use Cases: System users can create publicity by sharing an event link (e.g. in email messages and social media posts.


PREREQUISITES

Create and save an event. Ensure the event registration restrictions are configured as needed.


SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Click EVENTS on the side menu.

  3. Create a new event or edit an existing one.

  4. Scroll down the Event > General Info page and click the Embed Code tab.


URL

Click COPY URL to copy the event link to your clipboard and share a direct link to the event.

You can:

  • Add the link to your club’s website.

  • Include it in a marketing email or social media post.

When members click the link, it will automatically open to the next upcoming event date on the member portal. If there are no future dates for the event, the page will display the message: “Sorry, but the Event you are looking for has not been found.”

Edit Event

The public event URL can also be copied from the Edit Event screen when editing a specific event date or occurrence from the Event List.

Admin Scheduler

The event link can also be copied from the Admin Scheduler. Click the "i" info icon in the top-left corner of the event, then select the link icon to copy the public URL.

ADMIN PERSPECTIVE

In this example, the admin uses the event URL to create a link in a CourtReserve email.

In the email editor, highlight the word to turn into a link and click the Insert/edit link button.

Next, paste (or Ctrl V) the event link into the Url field. Click OK.

Your url is now included in the email. Select your players and send.


USER PERSPECTIVE

The member receives the email with the event link.

The following screen appears when a member clicks the link, where they can view event details and register.
