Manage Scheduler Visibility

Adjust Settings to Control Sub-Admin and Instructor Scheduler Access

Written by Ashley Owens

INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Manage sub-admin, instructor, and coordinator access to CourtReserve schedulers.

Use Cases: By default, any user with Admin permissions can access all schedulers. System users can manage sub-admin permissions at the user level by enabling full or restricted scheduler access or blocking access altogether.

Instructors and Coordinators

If a system user gives an instructor or coordinator Admin permissions, that instructor/coordinator can access all schedulers. If the system user assigns Sub-Admin permissions, the system user can customize the instructor or coordinator's access to schedulers.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Click SETTINGS > ORGANIZATION SETTINGS on the side menu.

  3. Click the System Users icon. A new page displays.

Select a tab (e.g. Sub-Admins, Instructors, or Coordinators). Locate a user and click the Edit button.

At the top of the page, make sure the Is Sub-Admin? box is checked.

Configuring Visibility

  1. Scroll down to the Scheduler(s) Visibility heading.

  2. Click the field and select an option (see below). The default setting is ALL, where the user sees all schedulers.

  3. Click Save changes.

  • If the system user selects Custom Scheduler(s) Only, a new field displays. Click the field and select one or more custom schedulers.

Example system user view:

  • If the system user selects Specific Scheduler(s), a new field displays. Click the field and select one or more schedulers. The options are all of the active schedulers in the platform.

Example system user view:

  • If the system user is an Instructor, there is the option of My Schedule Only, where the user can only see their schedule.

Example system user view:

  • If the system user is not an Instructor, there is an option of None, where they will see no schedulers. The exception is if the Access To Instructor Scheduler permission is enabled (see below).

Access To Instructor Scheduler

Note: there is an additional permission setting of Access To Instructor Scheduler. This adds the Instructor schedule to the user's scheduler options where they can book lessons for the instructors and see their schedule.
