INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: This report shows court usage rates for a given period.
Use Cases: Use report data to improve facility management, peak demand pricing, and event or clinic scheduling.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click REPORTS > COURT UTILIZATION.
Dates
Define a reporting period by setting the Start and End dates. Optionally, use a pre-selected filter option (e.g. This Week, Last Week, Current Month, etc.).
Filters
Enable one or more filters or leave the default setting ALL. Users can filter for Court, Court Type, Reservation Type, Categories, and Tags.
If the system user selects ALL Courts, the report does not count a combo court's counterpart as utilized if a reservation, lesson, or event is booked. CourtReserve recommends filtering by Court Type and running multiple Court Utilization reports if an organization has combo courts.
Slot intervals
System users can adjust slot intervals to see utilization based on an interval that best fits the organization's reservation duration intervals (e.g. 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.).
Group by
Users can run a report filtered by Day of the Week or Date. Day of the week gives an average per day court usage rate. The Date option shows court usage for each date during the selected period.
Compute Court Utilization By
System users can choose either Utilized Minutes or Utilized Number of Courts. CourtReserve recommends running a report with Utilized Minutes. The other option can produce a utilization rate over 100% for an interval with conflicting reservations and events.
