INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: System users create court and equipment charges tailored to membership types.

  • Use Cases: Configuring costs is an effective strategy for maximizing club revenue. It involves creating tiered pricing for peak and low-demand blocks of time.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Go to the side menu and click SETTINGS. Go to the BOOKING SETTINGS heading and click Costs. A new page displays. Click the Court Costs tab (if not already open).

Configuring options and costs

Use the boxes at the top of the table to enable or disable two settings:

  • Require Payment When Booking Courts Online - If enabled, the players must pay when they make a booking through the member portal. When enabled, CourtReserve gives the member 15 minutes to complete payment after they save the booking. If they do not pay for their reservation within that time, CourtReserve does not save the reservation.

  • Require Payment Profile - If enabled, members must create, or have a payment profile saved to their account in order to finalize reservations booked on the member portal.

CourtReserve automatically transfers cost information on the Court Costs tab to the relevant fields on membership cost pages.

Scroll down the table and enter price information for each court and ball machine and then click Save Changes. Optionally, enter a price in the ITEM column to quickly set the same price for each membership type.

In most cases, system users will leave the default Hourly setting. The fixed price option is better suited for other types of facilities (e.g. meeting rooms or halls).
