INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Reserve with Google connects your CourtReserve Public Booking page to your Google Business profile, allowing players to book courts or register for events directly from Google search results.

When enabled, your club’s Google listing can display a “Book online” button. Clicking this link takes users directly to your Public Booking page—no account required—making it fast and frictionless for new players to book with your club.

Common Use Cases

  • Capture new players directly from Google search: Players searching for courts or clubs can instantly book without needing to visit your website first.

  • Increase bookings with zero friction: Users can go from search → booking in just a few clicks, with no login or account required.

  • Convert search traffic into paying customers: With upfront payment and a simple booking flow, clubs can turn casual searchers into confirmed bookings.

OVERVIEW

The Reserve with Google integration enhances your Public Booking experience by connecting your club’s booking link to your Google Business profile.

Once enabled:

  • Your club may appear in Google search results with a “Book online” button

  • Clicking the button directs users to your CourtReserve Public Booking feature

  • Players can quickly view availability, book courts, or register for events based on your club’s configuration

  • No CourtReserve account or membership is required

This integration helps clubs increase visibility, reduce booking friction, and drive more revenue by meeting players where they are already searching—on Google.

Note: The Reserve with Google feature is not available for clubs on legacy pricing. If your club is on a legacy plan, this section will be disabled and you will see an option to upgrade your plan using the Upgrade Subscription button.

How to Enable Reserve with Google

To enable this feature:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Portal Settings > Public Bookings

  2. Ensure Public Booking is enabled

  3. Locate the Reserve with Google section

  4. Select Enabled

  5. Your organization’s address saved in the Organization Information screen is used to connect your CourtReserve account to your Google Business profile. If no address is on file, you’ll be prompted to enter one here. An address is required to enable and use the Google integration.

  6. Check the box to consent to sharing your booking data with Google. You must confirm that you agree to share your booking data with Google.

  7. Click Save

Once saved, your Public Booking link will be connected to your Google Business profile.

What Players See on Google

When Reserve with Google is enabled, your club may appear in Google search results with a booking action button labeled “Book online.” Clicking this button takes users directly to your CourtReserve Public Booking page, whether they are using a mobile device, desktop, or other device.

Services Option

Additionally, on mobile, a Services tab will appear on your Google listing, allowing players to view available reservation types and events and quickly book or register directly from their device.

Why This Matters for Your Club

  • No friction booking experience: Players can book instantly—no account creation required.

  • Meet players where they are: Capture demand directly from Google search instead of relying solely on your website.

  • Increase bookings and revenue: Make it easier for new players to discover and book with your club.

  • Simple and fast user experience: From search → booking in just a few clicks.

  • Drive new player acquisition: Turn casual searchers into first-time visitors and repeat customers.

Important Notes

  • Public Booking must be enabled to use this feature

  • You must have a valid Google Business profile

  • If your club is on CourtReserve legacy pricing, you can still use Public Booking, but you will need to upgrade your subscription to access the Reserve with Google functionality.

  • The booking experience still takes place in CourtReserve’s Public Booking flow (not inside Google)

By enabling Reserve with Google, your club can expand its reach, simplify the booking process, and convert more online searches into real players on your courts.
