INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Admins can now create and manage reservations for players without requiring an account using the Book without an account option.
Use Cases:
Walk-In or Phone Reservations: Quickly book courts for players who call or arrive in person without creating an account.
Extend Existing Public Bookings: Add additional players to reservations originally created through public booking
OVERVIEW
Admins can book reservations for players who don’t have an account—directly from the scheduler—using the Book without an account option.
When selecting a time slot, click “Book without an account” beneath the player search field. This opens a quick entry form where you can input the player’s first and last name (required), along with optional details like phone and email. Once entered, click + Add to Reservation to add them.
Note: Adding players without an account is currently available from the admin side only. Players cannot add additional participants from the public booking side.
Add Additional Players to a Player's Public Booking Reservation
Admins can add additional players to public booking reservations directly from the scheduler, making it easy to build out a full reservation with multiple participants—even if they don’t have accounts.
For example, if a reservation was originally created by a player through public booking, an admin can open that reservation and add more players without an account as needed.
Once the first player is added, click +Add Players to create additional spaces for other players to be added to the reservation. Note that increasing the Number of Players field only adjusts the count for fee calculation or admin tracking purposes — it does not automatically add players. You must click the green +Add Players button to add additional player information. This is useful when a player calls to book and knows they'll have four people but doesn't yet have all the names — the admin can set the count and add names later.
Reservation Display & Waivers
Reservations will display on the scheduler with each public booking player—those added without an account—labeled with a (P).
Admins can send waivers directly from the reservation using the standard process, and waivers can be pushed to all players on the reservation via email—including players added later. Even if an email address wasn't provided at the time of booking, it can be entered at any time to send a waiver to that player.
Additionally, the info (i) icon can be used to view any provided player contact information.
