INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Create Revenue Categories in bulk through a CourtReserve-managed import to organize and classify revenue by type—such as court rentals, memberships, events, and merchandise. These categories help streamline reporting and provide clearer insight into your organization’s financial performance.

Use Cases: Save time by creating multiple Revenue Categories at once using the import template. Revenue Categories make it easy to filter, track, and analyze income from specific sources—supporting better reporting, budgeting, and operational decisions.

What Is a Revenue Category?

A Revenue Category in CourtReserve is used to group and classify different types of income across your organization.

For example, you might create categories for:

  • Court Rental Fees

  • Membership Dues

  • Events & Clinics

  • Pro Shop / Merchandise

Assigning Revenue Categories ensures that all charges in the system are properly categorized, making financial reports more accurate and easier to understand.

PREREQUISITES

Before completing the import template:

Ensure you have defined how you want to organize your revenue (e.g., by court fees, events, memberships, etc.)

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

System users will complete the Revenue Category import template and submit it for processing.

The recommended process is:

  1. Download the Revenue Category import template (attached to the bottom of this article).

  2. Add your data according to the breakdown listed in the section below.

  3. Review and confirm accuracy.

  4. Submit for import to the CourtReserve Customer Success Team at [email protected].
