OVERVIEW

The free tools suite covers three categories - Revenue and Pricing, Operations and Planning, and Growth and Launch. All tools are free to use with no account or sign-up required, and no data is stored or transmitted.

Each tool accepts inputs specific to your facility and outputs projections or analysis based on benchmarks from active CourtReserve facilities. They are intended to support decisions before you make them - not replace the data inside your CourtReserve account.

Each tool is linked directly below, or you can access all 12 at once at courtreserve.com/free-tools.

What are the free tools?

CourtReserve's free tools are standalone, browser-based calculators. You enter your club's numbers, and each tool outputs a projection, cost breakdown, or scoring result based on real facility data. Nothing is saved, and no login is needed.

They are useful at any stage - whether you are opening a new club, adjusting pricing at an established facility, or trying to understand which part of your operation has the most room to improve.

The 12 Tools

Revenue and Pricing

Public Booking Revenue Estimator

Estimates how much monthly and annual revenue your club could generate by opening courts to non-members through Public Booking. Enter your court count, current booking volume, and average booking price to see projections based on performance data from 140+ clubs using the feature.

Useful for clubs evaluating Public Booking before enabling it, and for clubs already using it who want to benchmark their results.

Court Revenue Calculator

Models total court revenue based on four inputs: number of courts, operating hours, hourly rate, and utilization. Each variable updates the output in real time. Useful for pressure-testing a rate change, modeling a new facility, or identifying where current setup is underperforming.

Break-Even Calculator

Calculates how many members your club needs to cover its costs. Enter fixed costs, variable costs, average membership price, and non-member revenue to find your break-even point. Factors in revenue from sources like Public Booking to show how non-member income affects the member count needed to reach that threshold.

Membership Pricing Calculator

Models up to three membership tiers and outputs total monthly recurring revenue, blended average revenue per member, and revenue distribution across tiers. Useful for clubs launching memberships for the first time and for established clubs reviewing whether their current tier structure is working.

Operations and Planning

Revenue Per Player Calculator

Breaks down what each player generates monthly and annually across all revenue streams - memberships, lessons, events, leagues, and ancillary spend like food, beverages, and pro shop sales. Useful for identifying which revenue streams are under-generating relative to similar facilities.

Lesson and Clinic Pricing Calculator

Compares the economics of private lessons versus group clinics side by side. Enter rates, session frequency, and participant counts to see weekly gross revenue, monthly net after pro pay, and revenue per court-hour for each format. Useful for clubs looking to review or adjust their programming mix.

Court Utilization Planner

Maps court usage hour by hour across the week. Mark each time slot as empty, partial, busy, or full to calculate total untapped capacity and its potential revenue value. Useful for identifying where targeted programming or Public Booking would have the most impact.

Event and Tournament ROI Calculator

Models the revenue and profit from running leagues, round robins, clinics, and tournaments. Enter entry fees, ancillary revenue, and programming costs to see monthly and annual profit figures by format. Useful for clubs building a programming calendar around formats that generate the strongest return.

Staffing Cost Calculator

Plans club staffing by role - front desk, court monitors, teaching pros, and management - and outputs weekly, monthly, and annual labor costs alongside cost per open hour. Useful for clubs planning a new hire or building out a labor budget.

Growth and Launch

Membership Growth Projector

Projects membership count and monthly recurring revenue over 12 months based on current member count, monthly sign-ups, churn rate, and average membership price. Includes scenario modeling so you can adjust variables and see how changes in churn or sign-up rate affect the 12-month trajectory.

Facility Scorecard

Grades your club's operation across five areas - bookings, management, engagement, experience, and growth - through ten questions. Outputs a health grade for each area along with specific guidance on where to focus first. Built on the Club Growth Flywheel framework.

New Club Launch Checklist

An interactive checklist covering 60 steps across eight categories: business plan, site selection, construction, permitting, staffing, software setup, pre-launch marketing, and grand opening. Items can be checked off as completed, with direct links to the calculators that support each phase. Useful for operators planning a new club or second location.
