INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Require resource rentals at the reservation type level.
Use Cases: System users can streamline bookings by creating a reservation type with a specific resource (e.g. ball machine) that must be included.
PREREQUISITES
Make sure all required resources (e.g. ball machines) have been added to the Ball Machines page. System users set the cost of resource costs at the membership type level.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Go to the side menu and click SETTINGS > RESERVATION SETTINGS.
Click the Reservation Types icon.
On the next page, create a new reservation type or edit an existing one. In this example, the system user edits an existing reservation type.
Scroll down to the Allow Ball Machine(s) heading and check the box. This displays a hidden field. Click the Required Ball Machine Categories field and select one or more resources (e.g. ball machine). Click Save.
FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
When a player books a court with a specific reservation type, CourtReserve automatically adds the required resource to the booking.
The total fee includes the cost of the court and equipment rental.
