WHY TO USE CUSTOM FIELDS
Custom Fields are a great way to gather additional information from your members and can be attached to the following:
Events: This will show on the actual event. Use this to show additional information to your players/members.
Event Registration: Event Registration custom field is going to be an additional box for your members to fill out when they register for an event
Member: This will appear on your member profile and calls for players/members to fill out additional information. Use this custom field to add to the Sign Up Form to collect additional information from your players/members.
Reservation/Lessons: This custom field box will appear on Reservation and Lessons
Transaction: Transaction Custom Fields will show up whenever you are processing transactions.
CREATE EVENT CUSTOM FIELD
To create a Custom Field, can go to any location (Reservation Settings, Event Settings, Member Settings) where the button "Custom Fields" is shown. Settings>Event Settings>Custom Fields. Press Create to start.
Select Category: This determines where the Custom Field will appear.
Field Type: This determines if the custom field is going to be a Text Area, Text Box or Drop Down Menu.
Label: This is what you want the Custom Field to be called/this is what you want the players/members to see when completing the Custom Field.
Is Required: If you want this Custom Field to be optional (information may not apply to some players/members) then you can leave this unchecked.
Show on Member Portal: Check this to make visible for players/members.
Show on Admin Side: Check this to show Admins/Sub-Admins and Instructors
Display on Schedulers: Show the Custom Field on Schedulers
Eligible Event Categories: Choose the Event Categories that you would like to allow this Custom Field to be applied to.
Is Enabled: This setting makes this Custom Field active and allowed.

Event Registration Custom Field
Have players/members complete this information while registering for an Event.
Add the Custom Field to the Event and Save.

You have the ability to hover over the Registrants name and view the information recorded from the Custom Field.
MEMBER CUSTOM FIELD
Collect Additional Information regarding your players.
Members will fill this out on the member portal under personal information.
RESERVATION/LESSON CUSTOM FIELD
When players reserve lessons or courts, collect additional information using Custom Fields.
