INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Create separate prices for players who register to participate every day in a multi-day event or join one part of a multi-day event.
Use Cases: System users can set a full price for players who register for the entire event and a separate drop-in price for players who want to join one part of the event. The full registration feature applies only to events that take place on two or more days (i.e. recurring events). System users can also create a separate tier of full and drop-in prices for guests (if the event allows players to register non-members for the event).
PREREQUISITES
Know how to create an event with recurring dates and configure settings on the Event Setup page.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Create a multi-day event or open an existing one.
Scroll down to the Event Setup tab.
Configure prices. (see below)
Click Save Changes.
Configuring prices
CourtReserve displays two price columns. Go to the MEMBERSHIP row and enter a drop-in price and a full price. The drop-in price is for one day of a multi-day event.
If a player wants to join two days of a three-day event, they would pay two times the drop-in price.
System users can customize the drop-in price and full price for each membership type. In the above screenshot, the prices for a guest are higher than the prices for players with a membership plan.
Configuring guest prices
System users can also customize the guest price depending on the membership type. For instance, a guest invited by a club member with a Full Membership plan would pay one full price, and a guest invited by a club player on a student plan could pay a different full price.
Click the Guest Setup tab.
Customize the guest price for each membership type.
Click Save Changes.
Optionally, system users can limit the number of invited guests per club member based on their membership type.
FEATURE USAGE - USERS' PERSPECTIVE
On the member portal, CourtReserve displays event registration options.
The player can register for the full event.
The player can register for one or more individual dates. Each date has a separate drop-in price and registration button.
