INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: System users can set court restrictions to prevent members from booking reservations that create an un-bookable gap of time on the scheduler.
Use Cases: In an organization where the minimum reservation duration is 60 minutes, system administrators can activate the "Prevent Sandwich Times" setting for intervals of 30 minutes. This setting restricts members from booking reservations that would leave a 30-minute gap on the schedule.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
The first step is to open the Restrictions page.
Click SETTINGS on the side menu.
Scroll down the page to BOOKING SETTINGS and click Restrictions.
Scroll down the page Prevent "Sandwich" Times. (see below)
Click Save Changes.
This setting helps maximize court utilization so there are no 'gaps' of downtime between reservations. S message the player will get when trying to create a reservation that falls into the sandwich gap. System users can also choose to Exclude Sandwich Times from Bypass Restrictions so these parameters do not apply. System users can also Apply Sandwich Times During Prime Times Only if this restriction should only apply during an organization's set Prime Times.
