INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: CourtReserve allows clubs to create memberships that players can purchase during a specific time window, even if the membership doesn’t activate until a later date. This setup is ideal for offering promotional memberships — for example, selling next year’s memberships during a Black Friday sale, with the memberships activating on January 1st.
System users can easily control when memberships go on sale, when the sale ends, and when the actual membership period begins and ends.

Run seasonal promotions such as Black Friday or Early Bird specials.
Allow players to purchase memberships in advance for upcoming seasons or calendar years.
Prevent membership benefits from activating prematurely by defining future activation dates.

Field | Description |
Membership Purchase Start Date | The date when players can begin purchasing the membership and be visible on your Member Portal. The membership will be available for sale starting on this date.
Note on timing: If, for example, you set the Purchase Start Date to May 1, the membership will be available to purchase May 1 starting at 12:00am. |
Membership Purchase End Date | The final date the membership is available for purchase. |
Membership Start Date | The date when the membership becomes active and benefits are applied. If you're pre-selling a membership, this will be set to a future date beyond the purchase window. Note: this field will only display for a membership where a fee has been added. |

Example Scenario: Black Friday Promotion
Membership Purchase Start Date: November 28
Membership Purchase End Date: December 5
Membership Start Date: January 1 (next year)
In this example, players can purchase an annual membership during the Black Friday window in November, but the membership won’t activate until January 1st, ensuring they only receive benefits during the intended membership year.
