Integrated Payment Processing in CourtReserve

Accept Payments, Manage Billing, and Reconcile Revenue All from CourtReserve

Written by Mari Bern

INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: CourtReserve's integrated payment system allows clubs to accept and manage payments directly within the platform. Whether members book online or pay at the front desk, every transaction posts to the same member ledger.

Use Cases:

  • Accept credit card payments online, in-app, and at the point of sale through card-present terminals

  • Automate recurring membership billing cycles without manual processing

  • Run batch billing across rosters in a single run using stored payment profiles

  • Require payment at the time of booking for reservations, events, and memberships

  • Reconcile all revenue in one place without cross-referencing multiple systems

OVERVIEW

CourtReserve integrates directly with two payment partners - Stripe (CourtReseve's preferred payment partner) and SafeSave - so clubs can accept and manage payments without a separate billing system. Every transaction, whether it comes from an online booking, a walk-in at the front desk, or a recurring membership cycle, posts directly to the member ledger the moment it clears.

Payment Partners

CourtReserve supports two integrated payment providers:

  • Stripe - CourtReserve's preferred payment partner. Supports credit card, debit card, ACH/eCheck (US only), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Available in the US, Canada, and many other countries.

  • SafeSave - Supports credit and debit cards and eCheck/ACH bank draft, with negotiable rates based on processing volume. Available in the US and Canada only.

Note: To integrate either payment provider, your club must have an active merchant account with Stripe or SafeSave before completing setup in CourtReserve.

How Payments Work

Once integrated, CourtReserve processes payments through a tokenized form provided by each payment partner. CourtReserve never stores full payment card data. For identification purposes only, the processor may return the last four digits of a card, which may be displayed to help members recognize their saved payment method.
