INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Charge to Account lets system users post a point-of-sale transaction to a member's account as an unpaid fee, rather than collecting payment at checkout.
Use Cases:
System users (admins and sub-admins with permissions) can charge items to a member's account at checkout
System users can restrict a member's ability, at the user level, to charge items to their account. Learn more: Restricting POS Charges for Inactive Members
PREREQUISITES
System users know how to launch the POS and process a transaction.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Launch the POS and add items to the shopping cart.
Go to the Checkout.
Go to the member field and enter three letters of a member's name.
Select the member's name on the drop-down menu.
Click Process Sale and then Yes in the confirmation popup.
CourtReserve displays the Charge To Account option under the Payment Method heading if the system user did not disable this permission.
ADMIN PERSPECTIVE
Charge to Account transactions post to a member's profile as an unpaid fee. System users can view them under Billing > Transactions > Unpaid Fees.
USER PERSPECTIVE
Members can view point-of-sale transactions on the member portal by clicking their account name and selecting Billing > Transactions. On the next page, click the Transaction Details tab, then click the ALL tab.
