INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Set the start and end dates of a pickleball session schedule.
Use Cases: Use the session calendar to book club facilities for a session. Because CourtReserve is an integrated platform, pickleball bookings that cause scheduling conflicts are immediately flagged for system users.

Part 11: Create a Pickleball Session Schedule

System users must first create a session. Click here to learn more.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Creating a new schedule
To create a new schedule from the dashboard:
Click LEAGUES > SESSIONS on the side menu.
On the next page, locate the session to update.
Click the VIEW button.
Click the Schedule(s) / Game Days tab.
Click the Add New Schedule button.
Configuring session settings
Enter a name for the session schedule.
Optionally, check the Override Hours of Operation box if session start/end times fall outside the standard 9 am to 9 pm period.
Click the Schedule Date field and use the calendar to set the start date.
Use the clock icons to set the start and end times of each session day.
Set a Recurrence schedule. (optional)
Set the session end by counting game days or a specific date on the calendar.
If this session takes place on multiple days, click the Recurrence field and select an option. Optionally, click Custom and select session dates on the calendar.
Adding courts
Scroll down the page and configure court settings.
Click the Court Types field and select one or more options.
Select one or more courts or use the Select All button.
Add a note. (optional)
Click Save.
Viewing the schedule
After the admin clicks Save, CourtReserve displays the entire schedule for the session. Optionally, admins can:
Click the Add New Schedule button to create a new schedule on this page.
Click the Add Game Day button to add dates to the current schedule.
Editing the schedule
Reschedule Day
Use this tool to change a session date.
Scroll through the table and locate the date to update.
Click the Reschedule Day icon.
Change the date in the popup window.
Click Save.
Optionally, add a note.
Cancel
Click the X icon to cancel a game day. If a trash can icon displays in this place, system users can delete the row from the session table.
Edit
Click the pencil icon to edit game day settings, which include start and end times, facilities, and the number of registrants. Optionally, add a note, that displays on the admin and member portal schedulers.
Managing players
Admins can manually register and opt-in players for a game day session.
Adding players
Click the Players tab.
Click the Register Players button. A new page displays.
Optionally, check the box to send a notification to the registered player.
Click the View All Players link.
Use the search bar to find a player.
Locate a name and click the Register button.
Click Save.
CourtReserve adds the player names to the list.
Opting in players
Locate a date and click the View button. A new page displays.
Locate a name and click the checkmark next to the OUT button. The status changes to IN. To change the status, click the red arrow.
Locking in players
When game day approaches (or the maximum number of players have opted in), it's time for the admin to lock in the players and set the schedule.
Open the session and select the Players tab or the Groups tab.
Click the Lock Opt-ins button.
Click Yes in the confirmation popup.
CourtReserve displays the number of players and court allocation. Click the Create Groups button and Yes in the confirmation popup to go to the next step.
The next page shows the player and court allocations. Click the Start Game Day button, and Yes in the confirmation popup.
Opening the Matches page
CourtReserve opens the Matches page. This is where system users enter scores for each match. Optionally, click the Group field and filter the page by court number.
To enter a score, click the EDIT SCORES button. Use the Clear Scores button to set the score fields to zero and remove the winner icon. System users can also mark a game as Incomplete. When all system finishes entering match results, click the Finish Game Day button to go to the Standings page.
Opening the Standings page
CourtReserve automatically opens the Standings tab. The table on this page shows match play results for each player, including Points Won % and Win %. Click an arrow in the column label to sort table rows.
Editing scores
System users can change match scores after clicking the Finish Game Day button.
Click the Matches tab.
Click the Revert Game Day Completion button and Yes in the formation popup window.
Edit the scores as required.
Click the Finish Game Day button and then Yes in the confirmation popup window.
Editing the ranking
To manually edit a player's ranking:
Click the Standings tab.
Click the Edit Ranking button. A new window displays.
Click and drag a player row to a new location.
Click Save and Yes in the confirmation popup window. CourtReserve automatically changes the player's rank on the Standings table.
