INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: When a member belongs to multiple clubs but uses different email addresses for each, their accounts are treated as separate profiles across the CourtReserve network. To unify these, system users can perform an admin-side merge that consolidates all accounts under a single, updated email address.
This process involves creating a duplicate account with the member’s preferred email, then merging it with the existing profile—allowing all associated clubs to align under the same login credentials.
Use Cases: This feature is helpful when:
A member joins multiple clubs using different email addresses but later wants to manage all under one login.
A member changes their primary email address and wants all CourtReserve accounts to reflect the new one.
Admins need to simplify a member’s access and communication across clubs.
OVERVIEW
Example:
A player uses [email protected] for one club and [email protected] for another. After following this process, both club profiles will merge under the same updated email—[email protected].
To update a player’s account so clubs are under the same email:
Go to Members > Add Member.
Create a duplicate member profile using the new email address the member wants to use going forward.
Walk through the Merge Member process, but do not include the email from the original profile during the merge. Step-by-step instructions are as follows:
Begin the merge process by opening the member’s new account and navigating to the Details tab. In the Details section, open the More Actions dropdown menu and select Merge Account.
Next, select the member's original account for the Destination Account.
In the green Merged Account column, make sure you select the correct, unified email they'd like to use moving forward.
Once the merge is complete, the system automatically updates the member’s account to the new unified email address.
Afterward, the member will log in using the updated email, and all clubs they belong to will now appear under a single account.
