INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: Create pages for your club's online Member Portal to share information and guide player actions. There are two main options: the Home Page (the primary landing page for your portal) and additional portal pages (used for specific content or promotions with a unique URL).
Home Page (Primary Portal Page)
The Home Page is where players land when they access your CourtReserve portal. It serves as your club’s main hub.
Use Cases:
Welcome players and introduce your club
Highlight key actions (e.g., Book a Court, View Events)
Promote upcoming events, leagues, or camps
Share announcements, updates, or policies
Provide quick links to important areas of your site
Additional Member Portal Pages (Special-Purpose Pages)
These are custom pages you can create and share via direct links. While optional, they are ideal for targeted content or promotions.
Use Cases:
Promote a specific event, league, or tournament
Create a dedicated page for camps or programs
Share seasonal promotions or membership offers
Provide detailed information for clinics or instruction
Build landing pages for marketing campaigns (email, social, etc.)
Share information with non-members without cluttering the main Home Page

OVERVIEW
There are two types of pages in the CourtReserve Member Portal you can configure. The most common is the Home Page, where players land when they access your portal link (found in Portal Settings > Setup > Portal Link field).
In this article, we’ll focus on setting up the Home Page, as it’s the primary starting point.
You can also create additional portal pages and share them via direct links as needed—these will be covered at the end of the article.
Visual Example: Understanding How Pages Are Built
Each member portal page is built using drag-and-drop rows—no coding required. Each row contains content such as text, links, images, or other elements, and can be easily moved up or down to adjust the page layout.
The Home Page example below shows a page with four rows under the top navigation:
Row 1: Hero image with quick action buttons
Row 2: Blank content row with a black background
Row 3: Content row with a link to register for summer camp
Row 4: News row
Note: Rows can be quickly reordered to control how they appear on the page.
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Before creating a new page, system users should:
Gather the content to be published (e.g., dates, times, details), and
Prepare any digital assets (e.g., images, video links).
If enabled, the File Repository add-on can be used to store and manage these assets.
When the preliminary work is complete, building a new page is a three-step process:
Create a Content Row
Content rows can be used to display important information to your players, such as membership specials, upcoming events, announcements, or policies. You can also include images and links to other pages on your site within the content.
Content rows can be used in a variety of ways to highlight important information for your players. Common examples include:
Upcoming Events: Promote leagues, clinics, tournaments, or open play
Membership Specials: Highlight limited-time offers or discounts
Programs & Camps: Advertise youth camps, lessons, or seasonal programs
Policies & Reminders: Reinforce reservation rules or key guidelines
Pro Shop & Amenities: Promote gear, services, or on-site offerings
Welcome Messages: Introduce your club and guide visitors on what to do next
Note: A Hero Row includes a full-width banner and can feature call-to-action buttons. To learn how to create this type of row, click here. This article focuses on Content Rows.
To Create a Row
Navigate to Settings > Portal Settings > Website > Rows tab.
Click Create Row.
On the Create Row page, configure the following:
Name: Enter a unique name for the row (for internal use only).
Type: Select Content (Hero row detailed below).
Display Type: Choose who can view the row. This setting controls who can see the content:
All – Visible to both members and non-members
Anonymous Users Only – Visible only to visitors who are not logged in
Logged-in Users Only – Visible only after a member logs in
Customize the Row
Row Background Color: The default background for the row is white. To change it, select a color using the color picker options. Click Apply.
Content: Enter your content in the editor. Use the toolbar to format text, add images, or include links as needed.
Click Save.
Example: In this example, the club is promoting that summer camps are open for registration and includes a link for easy navigation.
After adding this to the home page (see details below), here’s an example of how the content row will appear:
Using Blank Rows for Spacing or Visual Interest
If you need to add extra spacing between sections, you can create a blank content row. For white space, simply leave the Row Background Color set to the default (white). An example (shown with a black background) is below:
Important: To display a content row on the home page or any other page for players, you must add it using the Home Page or Page Builder tabs.
Useful Tools in the Content Editor
The content editor includes several tools that help you create clean, engaging, and well-structured content for your member portal pages. Below are some of the most commonly used tools and how they can enhance your content:
Insert Link: Use this tool to add clickable links within your text.
Why it’s useful: Direct players to registration pages, external websites, or other portal pages.
Example: Link “Register for Summer Camp” directly to your event registration page.
Insert Image: Allows you to upload or select an image to display within your content.
Why it’s useful: Adds visual appeal and helps highlight important information.
Example: Add your club logo, event flyers, or promotional images.
Create Table: Insert a table to organize content into columns and rows.
Why it’s useful: Keeps layouts clean and structured, especially when combining images and text.
Example: Place an image on the left and descriptive text on the right for a professional layout.
Change Font Size: Adjust the size of your text to create hierarchy and improve readability.
Why it’s useful: Helps emphasize headings, announcements, or key details.
Example: Use larger font for section titles like “Summer Camps Now Open.”
Working with Images and Layouts
System users can add an image within a content row alongside text or include multiple images in a row. To display multiple images or combine images with text, it’s best practice to place the content inside a table. For the best visual results when using multiple images, choose images that are the same size and orientation.
To Set This Up:
Create a new content row and insert a table
Click inside a table cell and select the Insert Image icon
Upload an image
Enter the desired content for each cell
Click Save Changes
Using these tools together allows you to build clean, visually appealing sections that are easy for players to read and navigate.
Adding Rows to a Page — Required Step
After creating a row, it will not display on any portal page until it is added to a page. This is a required step to make your content visible to players.
To Add a Row:
Navigate to either Settings > Portal Settings > Website:
Home Page tab (for your main portal page), or
Page Builder tab (for additional pages)
Locate the Available Rows column
Find the row you want to add
Add the row using one of the following methods:
Click the Add button, or
Drag and drop the row using the crossbar icon into the page layout
Repeat these steps for any additional rows
Once added, your rows will appear on the selected page in the order shown.
To learn more about adding a News row to your Home Page or a standalone portal page, click here. To learn more about Announcements, click here.
Change Row Display Order
In the Page section on the right-hand side, you can easily reorder rows by dragging and dropping them into your desired layout.
Previewing and Revising
Click Preview to see how the page will appear.
Click Edit to update the content in a row.
Click Delete to remove the row from the page, but not from the platform.
Creating an Additional Member Portal Page
After creating your Home Page, you may want to create additional pages with dedicated URLs that can be shared or linked from other areas. Below are the steps to create a separate portal page:
Log in to the admin dashboard.
Click SETTINGS > PORTAL SETTINGS on the side menu.
Click the Website icon. A new page displays.
On the new page, click the Page Builder tab and then click the Create Page button.
In the popup window, enter a unique page name and then click Save.
Using the same process as the Home Page setup, create content rows to display on your dedicated page. In this example, the club created a Seasonal Specials page to highlight summer offerings. Content rows were added for a featured summer image, membership specials, and summer camps.
After finalizing the page, click Copy URL and share it where needed.
In this case, the club added the link to their top navigation for easy access. Here, they have a content row with an image and a content row with text that includes a registration link.
To open and edit a page at a later date, follow this path: SETTINGS > PORTAL SETTINGS > Website icon > Page Builder or Home Page tab. Select a page and click the Edit icon.
Additional Options
System users have several options to continue refining their member portal pages:
Add a link to the top-level navigation.
Publish an announcement.
Send an email to members with a page link.
Create a Hero row on the home page with a button that links to the stand-alone portal page.
