Part 3: Create Revenue Categories
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
Go to the side menu and click SETTINGS > BILLING SETTINGS. Click the Revenue Categories icon.
On the next page:
Click the Create Revenue Category button.
Configure settings. (see below)
Click Save changes.
Filling in the fields
Name - Enter a unique name for the category.
GL Code - Enter a general ledger code for the category.
Eligible for Misc Items - If this box is checked, system users can assign this revenue category to a miscellaneous fee.
Reservation Types - If applicable, assign this revenue category to fees from one or more reservation types. If not applicable, leave this field blank.
Event Categories - If applicable, assign this revenue category to fees from one or more pickleball event categories. If not applicable, leave this field blank.
Memberships - If applicable, assign this revenue category to fees from one or more pickleball membership types. If not applicable, leave this field blank.
Item Categories - If applicable, assign this revenue category to fees from one or more pickleball item categories. If not applicable, leave this field blank.
Reviewing the table
After saving a category, CourtReserve adds a row to the Revenue Categories table. The table shows the product or club activities linked to each revenue category.
Click Edit to update a revenue category or Delete to remove it from the platform.
