If this member belongs to a family, choose one of the two options below: create a new family or add the member to an existing family.
β
To create a new family:
Check the Create Family For This Member? box.
Enter a Family Name and Family ID.
Check the Set Membership On Family Level? box. If left unchecked, CourtReserve displays individual membership options instead.
Click the Family Membership drop-down and select a family membership option.
If the selected membership has a fee, confirm the following fields:
Payment Frequency - Verify or update the billing frequency.
Membership Start Date - Verify or update the date the membership begins.
Next Payment Date - Verify or update the date the first payment is due.
Create Billing Cycle between START DATE and NEXT PAYMENT DATE - Check this box to create a billing cycle between the two dates.
To add a member to an existing family:

Click the Family Role field and select a role.
If the role is Child, the Allow Child to Login checkbox appears. Check the box if the child should have login access.
Member Membership: Leave this field empty if the member's membership is managed at the family level (for example, they'll be part of their existing family's family membership). Otherwise, if they should be assigned an individual membership, select one here.

Address
After completing the General tab, click Next to continue through the remaining tabs.
On the Address tab, enter the member's address information.
β
Groups
On the Groups tab, optionally select any Member Groups to add the new member to. Note: A Member Group is a way to organize members within CourtReserve based on shared characteristics, interests, or eligibility (e.g., leagues, skill levels, programs, or social groups).
Payment Profile
On the Payment Profile tab, enter the member's payment information:
Click the Account Type drop-down and select a payment type. This will be required if set up this way by your organization.
Enter the Card Number, or click Autofill link to populate the field automatically.

Profile Picture
On the Profile Picture tab, click Add Photo to upload a profile picture for the member.
When all tabs are complete, click Save & Close to create the member account.
Member Profile
After clicking Save & Close, CourtReserve displays the new member's profile. The profile includes a menu bar with multiple tabs for managing member information and settings.
For details on each tab, see Member Profile Tabs.
A Note on Email Address
CourtReserve handles duplicate email addresses across organizations. If the email address entered already exists in another club / organization, CourtReserve creates the new account with that email. If the email is already in use within the same organization, CourtReserve displays an "Email is already in use" error.
USER PERSPECTIVE
If Send Welcome Email to the User was checked, the new member receives a welcome email with a link to log in to the member portal.
