Module 3 is an eleven-part quick-start guide highlighting the key steps admins should complete when creating and setting up lessons and instructors. This article is Part 7.

PREREQUISITES

Add the required instructors to the platform and set their allowed lesson types.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click SETTINGS > INSTRUCTOR SETTINGS > SCHEDULING RESTRICTIONS.

Adjusting scheduling restrictions

  1. Click the Scheduling Restrictions tab.

  2. Go to the LESSON TYPES section.

  3. Check the box for each lesson type that an instructor offers.

  4. Repeat for EVENT CATEGORIES.

  5. Click Save Changes.

FEATURE USAGE - ADMINS' PERSPECTIVE

The system displays a Conflicts icon and link when a user creates and saves a lesson with an instructor that is not available for the lesson type.

Click the Conflicts link to see the error. In this example, the instructor cannot be assigned to Pickleball Beginner lessons (as configured above in the Scheduling Restriction table). To resolve the conflict, select a different instructor or update the instructor's availability on the Scheduling Restriction table.
