INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: This report shows court usage rates for a given period.

  • Use Cases: Report data can be used to improve facility management, peak demand pricing, and event or clinic scheduling.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

Go to the side menu and click REPORTS > COURT UTILIZATION. A new page displays. Manually set the start and end dates or click the field to select a pre-built period (e.g. Current Year). Enable filters to screen for court type, reservation type, intervals, and more.

Notes

  • Slot intervals - System users can adjust slot intervals to see utilization based on an interval that best fits the organization's reservation duration intervals (e.g. 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.).

  • Group by - Users can run a report filtered by Day of the Week or Date. Day of the week gives an average per day court usage rate. The Date option shows court usage for each date during the selected period.

  • Compute Court Utilization By - System users can choose either Utilized Minutes or Utilized Number of Courts. CourtReserve recommends running a report with Utilized Minutes. The other option can produce a utilization rate over 100% for an interval with conflicting reservations and events.

Viewing the report

CourtReserve automatically updates the table at the bottom of the page. The percentages represent the average utilization rate per slot per day during the time frame. Click the Export to Excel button to save the table as an .xlsx file.

Saving a report

Click the Save Report button to keep the report on the platform. Enter a report name and select a Visibility option. Private means only the user who created the report can see the report. Shared means users with report access can view this document.
